What is the PTA?

The mission of the PTA is to promote academic, social, and environmental projects that build bonds between our school and the community.  The PTA provides volunteers and financial assistance for many activities throughout the year.

What is the PTA?  
The PTA is a non-profit, volunteer organization made up of parents, teachers, and community members committed to enhancing the educational experience for all children at Peterson.

What does the PTA do?
The PTA promotes academic, social, and environmental projects that build bonds between our school and the community. We have provided volunteers and financial assistance for events such as Welcome Back Picnics, Book Fair, Educator Appreciation Week, Earth Day Clean Up, International Night, Unity through the Arts and Sciences and the Reflections Art Program. We have also secured financial grants to help those in need within our community.

How can I get involved?
